Turda Salt Mine

Turda Gorge

Pădurea Hoia
A forest on the edge of the city, known locally as the 'Bermuda Triangle of Transylvania' for decades of stories about unexplained occurrences — named after a shepherd said to have vanished there with two hundred sheep. city bus (28B/30/37/44) to POD Traian + on foot; the trip takes about 50 min. Entry free.
Rimetea
A village first recorded in the 13th century, known for its white houses with green shutters below the Piatra Secuiului cliff — the first village in Romania to win the Europa Nostra award for preserving its architecture. car, about 1 h; there is no direct public transport from Cluj-Napoca.
