Kutná Hora takes 1 day, and splits into two points that aren't next to each other: the historic core with St Barbara's Cathedral, and the village of Sedlec with its ossuary, some two kilometres away. The train from Prague takes about 1 h 6 min, with a change onto a local train to the station closer to the centre.
The train from Prague arrives at the main station, Kutná Hora hl.n., from where there's no need to walk into town: a local train continues to Kutná Hora město station, within walking distance of the core. The ticket, €4.92, covers the whole trip, including that change.
The first stop on the way, before the core itself, is the village of Sedlec — home to the ossuary inside the Church of All Saints, decorated with the bones of roughly 40,000 to 70,000 people, the work of woodcarver František Rint in 1870. Entry is in groups at a fixed slot, Apr–Sep 9–18; Oct & Mar 9–17; Nov–Feb 9–16, time inside the chapel is capped at 30 min (chapel time limit), admission €9.02. Sedlec is reached by local train from Kutná Hora hl.n. or a walk of about 25 minutes; also in the village is the Cathedral of the Assumption, on the same slot system, admission €9.02.
From Sedlec the way returns to the historic core, home to the day's second stop: St Barbara's Cathedral, a Gothic building raised in stages from 1388 to 1905, dedicated to the patron saint of miners. The basic tour through the cathedral and the Corpus Christi chapel is €7.38, open Apr–Oct 9–18; Jan–Feb 10–16; rest 10–17.
The way from the cathedral to the centre passes the Italian Court, the former royal mint where the Prague groschen was struck from the Middle Ages onward — the full tour of all three routes is €9.02, open Apr–Sep 9–18; Oct–Mar 10–17; break 11:45–12:15. Anyone staying longer also goes down into Hrádek, the medieval silver mine beneath the town: a second guided tour, the Silver Path, includes the descent into the mine itself, €8.20, open Tue–Sun, hours vary by month (Jan 9–17), closed Monday.
Inside the core itself, around the square, sit smaller stops for the end of the day: the Stone House, a Gothic building with the 'Royal Mining Town' circuit, and GASK, a gallery in a former Jesuit college with a permanent collection. The same train runs back to Prague; anyone with time to spare has Kolín as the nearest day trip, 8–11 min by train.
