Kragujevac past the six main sights
The 1818 Old Church, a performance at Serbia's first theatre, and Zastava's industrial complex — three things the six main sights don't cover.
- The Old Church
- From 1818
- The Princely Serbian Theatre
- A performance, not just the building
- The Prince's Arsenal
- An old industrial complex

The six main sights get seen first; this is what is left once that is done. The Old Church stands in the same grounds as the Amidža Konak, yet is rarely looked at; the Princely Serbian Theatre is usually only photographed from outside; and the Prince's Arsenal carries the town's industrial history beyond a museum case.
The Old Church — in the Konak's shadow
In the same courtyard complex as the Amidža Konak stands the Old Church, built in 1818 — the same year the Konak itself began going up. Most visitors head straight for the museum and never step inside the church, even though it's a few steps away, in the same grounds.

A performance at Serbia's first theatre
The Princely Serbian Theatre is usually seen only from outside, as an 1835 building — but it still stages performances, on the same kind of schedule as any other theatre: box office 10–14, plus 18–20 on show days, a ticket €2.56–5.11. Watching a performance takes the whole performance, and booking ahead is recommended — the only way to experience the building from inside, not just from the pavement.

The Prince's Arsenal — industry after the factory
An old industrial complex in the centre of town, part of a history that began with a cannon foundry and the Military Technical Institute before Zastava grew into a car plant. Today it's a protected complex with museum and university space, and occasionally a venue for festivals and concerts.

An order that makes sense
The Old Church and the Prince's Arsenal fit into day one, alongside Milošev venac and Šumarice. A theatre performance depends on the schedule, not the day of your stay — check ahead and fit it into an evening slot, not a morning round.
