Getting around Budva
No single airport line runs from Tivat to Budva — several carriers share the same stretch of road — and inside the town, most of it is on foot.

- €1.50 (short hop)
- 24-hour ticket
- none, single-ride tickets only

Tivat airport (TIV) has no dedicated line into town. Instead it's on foot to the main road (100 m), then an intercity coach, and that stretch of road is shared by private carriers, with no single company at a fixed fare. Inside the town it's different. The old town is a pedestrian zone without exception, and the bus is only for short hops along the coast.
From Tivat airport
Tivat is the nearest airport, Tivat airport (TIV). There's no dedicated line from the terminal itself. It's on foot to the main road (100 m), then an intercity coach, where various intercity carriers stop, among them Blue Line, with no single company at a fixed fare. The whole ride takes 24–45 min for €3.56–5.53.

Getting around town
Budva has no network of routes the way bigger cities do. The bus is for short hops along the coast, to Bečići or Sveti Stefan, €1.50 (short hop) per ride. There is no day ticket (none, single-ride tickets only), only a single fare for each ride.

Through the old town on foot
The walls enclose a pedestrian zone without exception. Past the Citadel and the square with its churches, the narrow lanes all sit within a few minutes' walk of each other, so the whole old town is covered without a single ride.

Getting to the beaches and the island
A footpath along the cliff leads from the old town to Mogren. A local bus or taxi covers Jaz, two and a half kilometres west. For Sveti Nikola island, a water taxi runs from Slovenska beach or from in front of the walls, €5 per person, cash on the jetty, in season only.

For trips out of town
Kotor is reached by bus, Sveti Stefan by the local line via Bečići, and Lovćen and Ostrog need a car of your own or an organised tour. Timing and prices for each trip sit on the day-trips page. The same coast road south, past Sveti Stefan, carries on to Bar and Ulcinj — no longer a day trip from Budva, but the next town down the coast.

From the Tivat terminal it's on foot to the main road (100 m), then an intercity coach. Different carriers stop on the main road, so €3.56–5.53 depends on whichever comes first.
