Sightseeing tickets

Council Square and Rope Street are free; the Black Church, the Weavers' Bastion, Casa Sfatului, the First Romanian School and the Tâmpa cable car each charge separately. Their prices sit on the day-by-day plan where each one falls, not here, because they do not enter every day's budget.

From the airport

The A1 bus (RATBV) from Brașov–Ghimbav airport (GHV) to the centre is €5 per person, the same fare as any other ride on public transport. The ride takes about 30–40 min.

Trips out of town

Bran, Rasnov, Poiana Brașov and the trip to Peleș in Sinaia each have their own transport and tickets, outside the daily budget in the city — prices per trip sit on the day-trips page.

What this sum leaves out

  • The tourist tax. Charged separately at the front desk; the amount depends on the hotel and is not in the room price above.
  • Breakfast, a coffee or a drink with the meal. Not part of the prices above; check them for the exact hotel or restaurant.
  • A trip to Bran, Rasnov, Poiana Brașov or Sinaia. The bus, train or gondola and the entry ticket sit apart from what a day costs in the city.
