Subotica in 2 days
The Town Hall's viewing-platform tour runs only once a day, at noon — the whole first day is built around that slot, not the other way round; the second day is shorter, just Palić.

- 2 days
- The slot that sets the schedule
- The Town Hall tower
- Getting to Palić
- By bike or car, eight kilometres

This plan follows one bottleneck: the Town Hall's viewing-platform tour runs only at noon, tower tour: Tue–Fri at 12:00; Saturdays for groups. Day one is built around that slot — the synagogue before it, the Raichle Palace and the cathedral after. Day two is shorter, just Palić, eight kilometres east.
The centre: the synagogue, the tower and the Raichle Palace
The synagogue, its dome on an octagonal steel frame over eight columns. Entry €2.10, Tue–Fri 10–18, Sat–Sun 10–14.
A five-minute walk to the Town Hall — the 76-metre tower is visible from outside before the tour starts.
The tower tour at the Town Hall, tower tour: Tue–Fri at 12:00; Saturdays for groups; no for individuals; groups book ahead.
Lunch in the centre, a set menu €5.11–5.96.
The Raichle Palace, by the railway station: €1.70, Tue–Sat 10–18.
The Cathedral of St Teresa of Ávila, entry free, booking no.
Dinner in the centre, a main course €8.60–10.99.
The tower tour runs only at noon. Arrive after it and the Town Hall is seen from outside only — the day is built around 12:00, not around what's closest to the hotel.

Palić, half a day
Rent a bike in the centre or set off by car — eight kilometres east.
The ride to the lake, about half an hour by bike or ten minutes by car.
The Water Tower and the Great Terrace in the lakeside park, park entry free.
Back to Subotica, or onto the Soko train to Belgrade.
Palić isn't worked as a full day alongside the city — the afternoon of day two stays free, for the trip back or for going on.

Before you go
Short answers to what people ask most before setting out.
Why does the tower tour decide the whole first day?
Because it runs only once a day, at noon, tower tour: Tue–Fri at 12:00; Saturdays for groups — the rest of the schedule fits around that slot, not before or after it.
Can Palić be reached without a bike?
By car it's about ten minutes; without a bike or a car, it's worth arranging a ride ahead of time.
What if you arrive on a Monday?
Monday: The Town Hall, The Synagogue; Sunday: The Raichle Palace — this plan shifts to Tuesday, when all three stops on day one are open.
