The Chopin recitals in Łazienki run their own season

Beyond the table, the date also decides Chopin in Łazienki. The recitals are on Sundays at 12:00 and 16:00 (5 Jul–27 Sep 2026); Sundays at 12:00 (17 May–28 Jun 2026). The midday slot before July is a recording played by the Palace on the Isle, while live performances at the monument start only in July and run shorter than previous seasons, because of building work around the monument. There are no recitals out of season (Oct–Apr), and then the monument is visited without any music, like any other corner of the park.

The Palace of Culture viewpoint runs later until the end of September

The other seasonal slot is the Palace of Culture viewpoint. A ticket is €6.91, and the viewpoint opens daily from ten to eight. On Fridays and Saturdays until the end of September it stays open until midnight, then closes earlier, as for the rest of the year.

What has no season

POLIN and the Rising Museum keep the same schedule all year and close on Tuesdays. The Neon Museum and the Old Town are open every day, all year. Only the Royal Castle within the Old Town closes, on Mondays. Of everything on this page, only the Chopin recitals in Łazienki and the extended summer hours at the viewpoint have a season.

Frequently asked

Before you go

Short answers to what people ask most before setting out.

Is there live Chopin in Łazienki on Sundays in May and June?

Not before July. From 17 May to 28 June the Sunday midday slot is recordings only, played by the Palace on the Isle; live performances at the monument start once July begins.

Why is the Chopin season shorter this year?

Because of building work around the monument itself. Live performances are limited to July through the end of September, shorter than in previous years.
