Turin's coffee in a glass
Espresso, hot chocolate and thick milk cream, poured in layers into a small glass, unstirred before the first sip. At Caffè Al Bicerin, the café the drink is named after, a glass runs €7.50.

Pasta for lunch
Small squares of pasta filled with a mix of roasted meats, pinched shut by hand (hence "del plin"), served with butter and sage or roasting juices. At Agnolotti & Friends a portion runs €10–12 (portion).
A shared dip
A warm dip of anchovies, garlic and olive oil, for dunking raw and cooked vegetables — traditionally shared at the table from one pot. At Antica Bruschetteria Pautasso a portion runs €18 (portion).

Gianduiotto and Porta Palazzo
Gianduiotto, an upturned-boat-shaped chocolate, gave its name to a whole family of sweets (gianduja). At La Perla di Torino a kilogram runs €38–60 (1 kg). At the Porta Palazzo market, the largest open-air market in Europe, a panino from a street stall runs €4–6.
