Szentendre in 1 day
The HÉV from Budapest, Fő tér and the Serbian Church Museum, one day ticket for the Ferenczy museums, the Danube promenade to end.
- How long
- half a day
- Getting there
- HÉV H5 suburban train, about 40 min
- Serbian Church Museum
- 1 May–30 Sep: 10–18

The weekday sets the order in Szentendre. The Margit Kovács museum is open daily, Czóbel and Kmetty only from Thursday, and on Monday only the Kovács museum is open. So the walk goes from the square to the museums, with the riverfront last.
From Fő tér to the Danube promenade
HÉV H5 from Batthyány tér, a ride of about 40 min; a single ticket is about €2.50–3 one way.
Fő tér, free, then the Serbian Church Museum at number 6, beside the Annunciation church. Entry with the church is €3.86, and the museum is open 1 May–30 Sep: 10–18; 1 Oct–30 Apr: 10–16.
The Margit Kovács Ceramics Museum is open daily 10–18, and the day ticket is €8.83. The same ticket covers the Czóbel Museum (open Thursday–Sunday 10–18), so a second museum needs no new ticket.
The Danube promenade (Duna-korzó), free, then back on the HÉV.

Arriving after midday leaves time for one museum on the day ticket, while Fő tér and the promenade do not depend on the clock.
