What Zagori costs
Zagori is cheap to look at: the gorge, the bridges, the villages and the pools cost nothing, and the bill is made up of the car, the guesthouse and a meal.
- Guesthouse
- €48–66 per person in a double
- Dish of the day
- €7–14 (piata imeras)
- Car rental
- €55–60 per day

In Zagori entry to nature costs nothing; the road to it is what you pay for. The Vikos Gorge, the stone bridges, the villages and the Papingo pools are free, and the bill is made up of the guesthouse, a meal and the car: a guesthouse costs €48–66 per person, the dish of the day €7–14 (piata imeras), car rental €55–60 per day. The other items, with meals by kind, are in the table below.
Prices item by item
Everything per person, in euros. The day is the same basket across the site: a bed, two meals, city transport and admissions. Meal prices are from Ioannina; the villages themselves have no restaurants with a published menu.
The bill goes up in one place: the car, without which none of the villages is reached. The guesthouse is counted per person in a double, so the price of the whole room, €95–132 per room, is shared between two.

What is free
The Vikos Gorge (free), the stone bridges (free), Papingo and the rock pools (free) and the villages of Monodendri and Dilofo (free) have no ticket, and parking at the bridges and pools is free. The only thing paid for separately here is rafting on the Voidomatis river; price: free swimming; rafting from €40/person.

Where to save
The saving is in sharing: the car is split among everyone in it, the room between two. A dorm bed exists only in Ioannina, because the villages have no hostel (none).
