More than three thousand people went up Kablar on the first weekend, while entry was free, and over twenty thousand in the first month. Those numbers also tell you when to go.
The Kablar glass skywalk opened on 30 July 2026, at 879 metres. On the first weekend, while entry was free, more than three thousand people went up, and in the first month the Čačak tourist board counted over twenty thousand — so the real question is when to go.

When to go
Twenty thousand a month averages out at more than six hundred people a day across two platforms, and the average hides the weekends. On weekdays the skywalk is open from 10:00 to 19:00, on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00, so if you go at the weekend, be there when it opens. A weekday is still the better choice.
You can't drive up to the railing: from the car park you walk a marked path through the forest. The road to the car park is narrow, and the need to widen it and the car park was raised on opening day itself. That's the second reason to arrive early at weekends. An adult ticket is €4.26.

Is it worth the trip
If you're going only for the skywalk — probably not: it's one stop, not a day out. If it's the morning part of a day in the gorge, ahead of the crowds, and afterwards you drop down to a monastery or the lake, the trip makes sense; stay the night in Ovčar Banja and you have a second day.
Serbia, in brief
What now
If this sounds like your trip, start here.
- Come on a weekday; if it has to be the weekend, be there when it opens at 9:00.
- Expect a narrow road and a forest walk from the car park — you can't drive to the railing.
- Treat the skywalk as a morning, not a whole day: afterwards head down to a monastery or the lake.
