What Santorini costs
The bed is the biggest line in a day on the island; the bus and the tickets are the smaller part of the bill.
- Sleeping
- Hostel €14–40
- Food
- Restaurant main course €9–18, no drinks
- Transport
- One KTEL ride €2.20

On Santorini a hostel bed costs €14–40 and a three-star hotel €36–86 per person — the line that decides the budget. One KTEL bus ride from Fira is €2.20, a taverna main course €9–18, and entry to Akrotiri €20 (reduced €10).
Prices line by line
All prices are per person.

Why there's no single daily total
For most cities on this site, a frugal day adds up a hostel bed, one street meal, a set lunch and two rides on transport. Greek tavernas on Santorini don't run a fixed-price set lunch the way a workday menu does in some other cities, so the daily food cost is worked out item by item from the table above, not as one total.

Sightseeing tickets
Fira, Oia and the caldera-rim path are free. Akrotiri (€ €20 (reduced €10)) and Ancient Thera (€10 (reduced €5)) charge for entry, and the caldera tour (€25–40 tour + €5 park entry) includes both the boat and entry to the area around the volcano.

Transport and accommodation
KTEL has no multi-day ticket — none means every ride is paid separately, €2.20 per line. Bed prices don't move much with which part of the island you pick; they move with whether the room has a caldera view.

What this sum leaves out
- Breakfast, and drinks with a meal. Not in the table above — the price for both depends on the restaurant or hotel.
- A ferry or flight to the island. Price depends on the date and where you're coming from, outside this list.
- A day trip to Ios or Thirassia. The Ios ferry is from €6.50, outside the daily budget on the island itself.
