Pula month by month
Temperature is the mean over the whole day (not the daily high), and a rainy day has at least 1 mm of rain; averages for 2021–2024.
Summer is hot, and the Arena can cut a visit short
July and August average more than 26°C and bring the least rain of the year. The Arena hosts concerts and other events in summer — when something is booked, seasonal: Apr 8–20, May 8–21, Jun–Aug 8–22, Sep 8–21, Oct 8–19, Nov–Mar 9–17 can change for that day, so it's worth checking before planning the whole day around it.

Rain, not cold
Winter in Pula rarely averages below 7°C, but November and December carry the most rainy days of the year, thirteen each. Snow is rare; what you notice is rain.

Kamenjak and Brijuni depend on the season, not the timetable
Kamenjak charges cars and motorbikes only from 2 May to 30 September; on foot or by bike it's free all year. Brijuni's price changes with the season, €35 (Jan–May, Oct–Dec), €50 (Jun–Sep).

The best balance
These three months carry enough warmth for swimming at Kamenjak, without the Arena's peak August crowds or a full car park at the cape. July and August add the height of summer and the busiest centre.
