Day trips from Tara
The Šargan Eight and Drvengrad sit in Mokra Gora, a nature park on the same mountain's southern slope — not inside Tara National Park — and work best as a day of their own.

Tara has no day trips of its own — the region is the destination. What most often gets added to the plan is Mokra Gora, on the mountain's other, southern slope: the Šargan Eight and the village of Drvengrad, a full day, in a separate nature park since 2005.
Mokra Gora — a train and a village on the other slope
The Šargan Eight is a narrow-gauge railway that climbs in a loop out of Mokra Gora; a ticket is €12.77, booking is recommended, and none; summer 30 Mar–30 Oct. Right beside it is Drvengrad, the village Emir Kusturica built for the film Life Is a Miracle.

Does it fit the same day as the viewpoints or the lake
Rarely comfortably. Mokra Gora sits on the opposite, southern slope of the same mountain, far enough from Banjska Stena and Perućac that the drive there and back, plus the train and village themselves, fills a whole day on its own — better added as a day or two of its own than folded into the same day.

Without a car
bus (FlixBus) to Mokra Gora runs directly from Belgrade (airport Belgrade (BEG airport)) to Mokra Gora — 4 h 13 to Mokra Gora for from €28.45. There's no public transport to the northern part of the park, around Kaluđerske Bare and Perućac — that part needs a car.
Mokra Gora sits at the pass towards Zlatibor, so that day continues easily onto that mountain instead of heading back to Tara.
Mokra Gora isn't part of Tara National Park — it's been its own nature park since 2005, at the pass towards Zlatibor.
Golija
Anyone continuing on from this area instead of heading straight back to Belgrade has Golija as the next mountain east, near Ivanjica — with Studenica monastery inside its bounds. A separate destination, a separate day, not an add-on to Mokra Gora.
