Getting around Salzburg

A bus runs from the airport to the centre in about 20–23 min — and the Old Town itself is walked, so city transport is for everything beyond it.

The Old Town itself is walked, since the narrow streets between the river and the hill are largely closed to traffic. The bus is for everything beyond it, the airport, the station, the far bank of the river.
