Where to stay in Toruń
Inside the walls you're by every sight, but on cobbles; in Bydgoskie Przedmieście you sleep among villas and walk a little further.
- The Old Town
- By the walls
- Bydgoskie Przedmieście
- West of the walls
- Hotel 3*
- €33–42 per person, a double room

In Toruń you choose between the walls and a district to the west of them. Inside the walls everything is close, with cobbles and tourists outside the door. Bydgoskie Przedmieście means a longer walk, and in return you sleep among three-storey houses and villas. A three-star hotel runs €33–42 per person.
Everything within reach
Outside the door are cobbles and Gothic brick, and every sight is a few minutes' walk away. The morning starts without waiting for the first bus.
This is where to sleep if you want to be first at the house-museums in the morning. Anyone after something quieter than the town centre will sleep better outside the walls.

Quieter, and with its own architecture
West of the walls begin three-storey buildings from the second half of the nineteenth century, in eclectic, Art Nouveau and neo-Gothic styles. Between them stand villas that went up after 1909, when the town lifted building restrictions on this district. It has been on the register of immovable heritage monuments since 2011. Today it's mainly residential, without the tourist crowd.
This district is for anyone who doesn't mind the longer walk to the Old Town. If you want to step out of your room straight onto the square, stay inside the walls.

For one night
For a single night, stay inside the walls. The whole town takes a day to see, so there's no point spending it walking between a district and the sights.
- A car won't get you to your room any faster. The Old Town's streets are narrow, part of it is a pedestrian zone, and parking sits on the edge.
