Parc Astérix Tickets: Getting There From Paris and When It Is Open
A ticket seven days ahead, a train to the airport and a shuttle to the gate
- Ticket
- Futé €56 (at least seven days ahead)
- Season
- 4 April 2026 to 3 January 2027
- Hours
- Usually 10 am–6 or 7 pm

Parc Astérix is a day with three decisions, and the first is the ticket: Futé costs €56 and has to be bought at least seven days ahead. The second is the route, which runs through Charles de Gaulle airport, and the third is the coasters, which go first while the queues are still short.
Which Parc Astérix ticket: Futé or Flex
Futé is the cheaper ticket and the date on it is fixed. Liberté Flex costs €68 and lets you move the date until an hour before opening, subject to availability. The extra over Futé buys flexibility, so it makes sense only when the weather or the plans might change, and Futé is the better deal for anyone who knows the day a week ahead.
Buy on the official site, because unofficial resellers sell above face value. A group ticket called Tribu also exists, and partners list an Early Bird entry and a return shuttle from Paris. Both Futé and Flex are valid until the park closes for the winter.
Prices are for 2026 and for adults aged 12 and over. Futé and Flex are valid until the end of the season.

Getting there from Paris: RER B and the shuttle
The park sits about thirty kilometres north of Paris, near Plailly, and the public route goes through the airport. Take the RER B to Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 1, on the airport fare of €14, then walk two minutes to the Roissypôle bus station and find platform A3, marked Parc Astérix. The shuttle runs on every day the park is open, with the first departure at 8:45 and then one every 15 to 30 minutes.
Book the shuttle at the latest the day before and validate the ticket at the desk before boarding the bus. By car the way is from Porte de la Chapelle onto the A1 towards Lille, leaving at the Parc Astérix exit between exits 7 and 8, and it takes about an hour with no toll. Parking is paid once per vehicle while train and shuttle are paid per person, so for two or more people the car is cheaper.
When it is open, and when to go
The season is 4 April 2026 to 3 January 2027. Seasonal events fill the calendar. Été Gaulois runs from 11 July to 30 August, the Halloween event Peur sur le Parc from 3 October to 8 November, and Noël Gaulois from 19 December to 3 January.
Hours are usually 10 am to 6 pm, with later closing on some evenings. Outside school holidays the park can be shut on some weekdays, April, May and autumn above all, so read the park calendar before you buy a dated ticket. Wednesday and Thursday are calmer than weekends, and guests of the park's hotels get in about an hour earlier.

What to ride first
Go to the big coasters straight away, while the lines are at their shortest. Toutatis opened in 2023, stands 51 metres tall and reaches 110 km/h, and riders need to be 1.30 m. OzIris also asks for 1.30 m, and Goudurix, with its seven inversions, for 1.40 m.
Tonnerre de Zeus, a wooden coaster from 1997, takes riders from 1.20 m, and Pégase Express is the family choice from 1.00 m. Take a poncho for Grand Splatch, and bear in mind that two of the water rides close earlier than the rest of the park. Arrive 20 to 30 minutes before ten and the first hour belongs to the coasters.

When it is not worth it
Without children or a taste for coasters the trip does not repay the journey, because the way in takes between 45 minutes and an hour and a quarter in each direction from the centre of Paris.
- With one day, arrive early and ride the big coasters in the morning.
- Children under 1.20 m stay with Pégase Express, Menhir Express and similar rides.
- Winter is closed, and the season ends on 3 January.
- Count the transport before booking: two airport fares and the return shuttle for each person, or one parking fee for each car.
