The best time to visit Durmitor
The same mountain all twelve months, but Sedlo pass and the Bobotov Kuk trail depend on whether the snow has already gone.

Durmitor is a mountain region, so the month here changes both the temperature and whether you can reach the summit or cross the pass at all. The best window is Jun–Sep (hiking). Outside that window, snow can close Sedlo and linger on the upper part of the Bobotov Kuk trail.
Month by month
Temperature is the mean over the whole day (not the daily high), and a rainy day has at least 1 mm of rain; averages for 2021–2024.
Why Jun–Sep (hiking)
July holds the highest average of the year and the fewest rainy days; Sedlo is open all season, and the Bobotov Kuk trail is dry for most of its length. August tracks almost the same average, with a little more rain.

Winter
The average drops below freezing from November to March, with January the coldest. Sedlo is closed Nov–Apr (snow), and Žabljak runs as a ski area then.
none, but snow lingers into late July on parts of the trail — even when the valley is already green, the upper part of the Bobotov Kuk trail can still be carrying snow.
