Cetinje in 1 day
Njegoš's Mausoleum on Lovćen goes first, while the view is still clear; the monastery and both museums downtown sit a few steps apart and wait for the afternoon.

Cetinje takes 1 day, but the order decides whether you actually see it all. Lovćen comes first, before the fog closes the view, and only then the town, where the monastery and both museums sit a few steps apart. Reverse the order and the summit is often just cloud by the time you get there.

Before you go
Short answers to what people ask most before setting out.
Is one day enough for Lovćen and the town?
1 day: Lovćen in the morning while the view is clear, the town in the afternoon. Any less leaves something unseen.
Can you reach Lovćen by public transport?
No. It's by car or organised tour; the town itself is walked.
Why visit Lovćen in the morning rather than the afternoon?
Cloud closes the view from the summit without warning, usually later in the day. Going early gives better odds of seeing the bay and Lake Skadar.
